L7 Booking Agency Profile

Book L7 for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
Raucous punk rock band L7 sprang from the streets of Los Angeles and is sometimes grouped with the Seattle scene of the early '90s. The band's style was a collision of throat-shredding vocals, crunchy guitars, chugging rhythms and a savage attitude that would impact a spectrum of bands from Nirvana to the Distillers. It was heavily influenced by the hard-charging metal of Motörhead as well as the no-frills punk of Ramones and Frightwig. After releasing their first two singles, they finally broke through with the Butch Vig-produced song Bricks Are Heavy, which received L7 praise and peaked at number 10 on the charts. After the release of their sixth album, Slap-Happy, towards the end of the decade, they took a lengthy sabbatical until making a comeback with Scatter the Rats two decades later.
However, the band members continued to be involved in music, with Finch playing with the punk band the Shocker and Sparks pursuing a solo career with assistance from Plakas under the name Donita Sparks & the Stellar Moments. The reunion was announced by Sparks, Gardner, Finch and Plakas. At the Echo in Los Angeles, L7 performed their debut concert as a group in 18 years. This was followed by an international tour. In order to support their comeback, the documentary L7: Pretend We're Dead, which was crowdfunded, appeared. They published their seventh album, Scatter the Rats, after releasing two singles that weren't included on the album. The album, which was made available through Joan Jett's Blackheart Records, featured the hits "Burn Baby" and "Stadium West.".

CTI can give you the accurate L7 booking price once we submit your event details to their camp. "How much does it cost to book L7 for an event?" is a frequent question we get. The final L7 booking price is contingent on many variables and the booking fee we may show is based on a range derived from our past experience with what will L7 charge for an event. An example fee to book L7 is in the starting range of $25,000-$39,999. However, any recent popularity change would cause a price fluctuation well beyond this example. Also, their speaking fee might be different than the fee shown for the cost to perform or to just appear. Popularity, career stage, along with current demand will cause fluctuations in their speaking price as well. The final booking price may be more than what is shown, but you should at least have a budget within that range for them to consider an appearance, performance or speaking engagement.
CTI negotiates on behalf of professional event planners and talent buyers for paid appearances! We cannot give out direct contact information of the L7 agent or help distribute fan mail, personal messages, gifts, requests for free appearances, or donations of time. The L7 manager and agent will only work with us if we present them with funded offers for their client to work your event.
There is low probability to book L7 for a party with anything substantially less than the published booking cost price range. We will negotiate with the L7 agent on your behalf if your funding is in place. By not having funding ready then it will more difficult to book L7, because they get many offers to work events that are at or above asking price. It is also important to consider the travel costs when researching the L7 booking fee, as additional expenses like this, as well as an entourage of staff and equipment, are not necessarily built-in to the booking fee range shown. If your budget does not factor that in, then there is no benefit for them to want to be hired. We do not personally speak for L7, but in our experience in booking talent for over 25 years, this is generally the outcome of inadequate funding.
