48 year old church volunteer Susan Boyle was born and raised in Blackburn, Scotland and before Britain's Got Talent lived at home with her cat Pebbles. Susan has been singing since she was 12 years old and before the show regularly attended her local church to help out however and whenever she could. For her Britain's Got Talent audition, Susan chose to sing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.
