He released his sophomore project, The Dreamer. The lead single, “The Baby" became his second No. 1 song. When the hilarious "Some Beach" was released, it shot straight to No. 1. The album also contained a cover of Conway Twitty's “Goodbye Time," and “Nobody But Me,” which peaked at 10 and 4 respectively. Shelton soon released “The More I Drink,” and “Home.” The latter is a song made popular on the pop charts by Michael Bublé, and was another No. 1 for the star. Blake then released his fifth album, Startin' Fires with the lead single, “She Wouldn't Be Gone" going straight to No. 1 for two weeks. Since then, Shelton has released six more studio albums, “Red River Blue” and “Based on a True Story…” reached certified RIAA two-time Platinum and his most recent album release was “Texoma Shore”. Shelton’s most recent single is “God’s Country”, which peaked at number 5 on the US Country charts. Blake is currently a judge on NBC's The Voice.
