Blitz The Ambassador Booking Agency Profile

Book Blitz The Ambassador for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
Blitz The Ambassador is a Brooklyn-based MC, who followed an interesting path that helped him shape who he is today. Samuel Bazawuel was born in Accra, Ghana, where grew up to the sounds of Jazz, Motown, Afro-Beat, and Highlife. When his older brother showed Blitz Public Enemy's It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back", he was forever changed. This marked the beginning of his journey towards a hip-hop career. He moved to the U.S. to study at Kent State University in Ohio, during which time he performed live shows at local venues. He then released Soul Rebel EP under the alias Blitz. He moved to New York City after graduating, and recorded another EP, Double Consciousness. After three years of recording, Blitz took the album to several major labels, but ultimately decided that was not for him and chose to go alone. Blitz has been chosen as one of Beyond Race Magazines '50 Emerging Artists', as well as for an exclusive Q&A for the magazine's site. He recently received the Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Contemporary Music..
