"Sarah Paulson is an American actress. Paulson started her acting career on stage before heading over to the big screen. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan and made her Broadway debut in “The Sisters Rosensweigh”. Some of her early work includes roles on television series like, “Law & Order”, “Friends at Last”, “Cracker”, “American Gothic”, “Jack & Jill”, “Touched by an Angel”, “Leap of Faith”, “Deadwood”, and “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”. She was also seen on films like, “The Other Sister”, “What Women Want”, “Down with Love”, “Serenity”, “The Spirit”, and “New Years Eve”. Some of Paulson’s best known roles include her various characters on FX’s “American Horror Story”. She quickly became the lead actor after a few seasons on the series. She was also cast as Mistress Epps on “12 Years a Slave”. Paulson has also been heavily featured on Ryan Murphy’s other series “American Crime Story”, and “Feud”. Paulson has dated both men and women and is LGBTQ. She has a fear of flying to the point that when she does have to fly she insists on meeting the pilots of the plane to be assured they are experienced. She was on TIME Magazine’s list of “The 100 Most Influential People” in 2017. She most recently has been seen in the film “Ocean’s Eight”, and “The Post”. She will soon be seen in M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass”. Paulson has been nominated for countless awards, she has won a Golden Globe for her role in “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” for Best Actress.
