Apart from their music as a duo, Knower can also perform as a full band that is a jazz-funk act that includes instruments such as keyboard players, bass players and a saxophonist. Cole graduated from the Jazz Studies program at USC Thornton and while studying there, became good friends with Jack Conte. Conte and Cole started composing and recording songs together and Conte suggested Cole release his music online. Artadi also studied music and earned her Bachelors in Jazz Studies at California State University Northridge and also earned her post-graduate studies at CSU Long Beach. Cole and Artadi met through Robby Marshall and shortly after, they started working together and released their music through YouTube before releasing their debut album, “Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi”. Since then, Knower has gone on to release three more albums.
