Mason began his career playing hockey and he played hockey for Saanich Jr Braves, VIJHL, but had to stop due to a herniated disk. Shortly after, Mason signed to Manicdown Productions and released his debut single, “It’s All Good,” which peaked at number 10 on the Canadian Country charts. Mason followed up his debut single with his second single, “Good Kinda Love,” which peaked at number 10 on the Canadian Country charts and earned him two BCCMA nominations. Both singles were featured on his debut studio album, which he released a few years later, “Both Sides of the Bar.” After he released his debut album, Mason became nominated for the CCMA Rising Star Award and has also most recently been nominated for the same award again. Some of Mason’s other popular singles include “Red Dress,” “Made for You,” “Something to Wrap My Heart Around,” “Future,” and “Better on You.”.
