Hotel Mira is an alternative rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, that consists of members Charlie Kerr, Colton Lauro, Mike Noble, Clark Grieve and Cole George. Hotel Mira was formed by Kerr and Oliver Mann while in school and Christopher McClelland and Graham Seri later joined and they originally performed under the name JPNSGRLS, or Japanese Girls. Once formed, they began performed locally in Vancouver and began well known in the Vancouver independent scene for their hyperkinetic live shows. As JPNSGRLS, the band released their debut EP “The Sharkweek.” This led to them releasing their debut studio album “Circulation.” They also released one more album as JPNSGRLS entitled, “Divorce,” before changing their name to Hotel Mira. Since then they have released one self-titled EP and an album “Perfectionism.” Under JPNSGRLS, the band has previously been nominated for the Sirius XM Canada Independent Music Award for Emerging Artist of the Year.
