C+C Music Factory is an American musical group that was formed by members David Cole and Robert Clivilles. The dance-hip-hop group is best known for singles which included “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” “Just a Touch of Love,” “Here We Go (Let’s Rock & Roll),” and many more. After the passing of David Cole, C+C Music Factory stopped performing for a while and later was reformed with Eric Kupper. Cole and Clivilles performed together in groups which included 2 Puerto Ricans, a Blackman and a Dominican, and with The 28th Street Crew before the formation of C+C Music Factory. The group has gone through several group members over the years and after their formation, they released their debut studio album, “Gonna Make You Sweat,” which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard’s Top 200 albums charts. The album also was released with their debut single of the same name. The single, Gonna Make You Sweat went on to sell over a million copies and earned certified platinum. Their second single, Here We Go (Let’s Rock & Roll), also earned fame peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard charts and earned RIAA certified gold. Their third single, “Things That Make You Go Hmmm…” also reached RIAA certified gold status. Some of their other singles include “Keep It Comin’ (Dance Till You Can’t Dance No More),” “Do You Wanna Get Funky,” and more. They also went on to release three more albums over the years “Anything Goes!,” “C+C Music Factory,” and “Ultimate.”.
