La Femme is a French psych-punk rock band that was formed by Sacha Got and Marlon Magnee and currently consists of other members that include Sam Lefevre, Noe Delmas, Clemence Quelennec, Clara Luciani, Jane Peynot, Marilou Chollet and Lucas Nunez Ritter. La Femme was formed in Biarritz, France, and their music is a mixture of synthetic and hypnotic and blends with elements of punk, coldwave and yeye. Le Femme finds influence in other bands which include Kraftwerk and Velvet Underground. After their formation, La Femme released their self-titled debut EP which they followed up with their second EP, “Le podium #1.” Two years later, La Femme released their debut single, “Sur la planche,” which peaked at 107 on the French charts and also released their debut studio album, “Psycho Tropical Berlin,” which peaked at number 33 on the French charts and at number 125 on the Belgium charts. It wasn’t for another three years that the band released more music with the release of three singles, “Sphynx,” “Ou va le monde,” and “Septembre,” all of which were featured on their second studio album, “Mystere,” which peaked at number 8 on the French charts and number 38 on the Belgium charts. Since then, La Femme has released another EP and singles such as “Paradigme,” “Disconnexion,” and “Le Sang De Mon Prochain.” They have also released their third album, “Paradigmes.”.
