Jeon Jung-kook was born September 1, 1997 in Busan, South Korea. The performer (known as JungKook) became a k pop trainee when he was only in middle school. JungKook originally had plans to become a badminton player when he grew up, but that all changes when he saw G-Dragon’s performance of “Heartbreaker” and from there, his mind was set. After being a trainee with Big Hit Entertainment, he debuted as a member of BTS in 2013. With BTS, he’s sold 32.7 million records domestically, including 9 studio albums. Many of their singles and records have gone on to become Gold and Platinum certified, with “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey” going triple Platinum after it’s release in 2020. JungKook graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul back in 2017 and went on to get his degree from Global Cyber University’s Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment.
