Low Island Booking Agency Profile

Low Island is a New Oxford-based four piece band consisting of Jamie (vocals, guitars, keys, and electronics), Carlos (vocals, guitars, and keys), Jacob (bass) and Felix (drums and percussion) that started somewhat by accident. Jamie and Carlos were working an a theatre score when something clicked with them. The two of them, who had worked together in the past with a residency at Leeds venue The Warehouse, started developing this “accidental” sound further. Later, they added their friend Jacob on bass and then Felix on drums, making them a quartet. The four of them set out to record their first EP “Just About Somewhere”, which was released in 2017 and consists of four songs: “Anywhere”, “End Piece”, “Recent”, and “Disconnect”. That same year, they released their second EP “In This Room” which featured five songs: “Holding it Down”, “Rest Your Head”, “That Kind of Love”, “That’s Right”, and “(Pause)”. The next year, 2018, they released their third EP titled “This Other Life” and the year after that, they released “In Person (The Remixes)” which, as you may have guessed” featured four different remixes of the titular song. Later that year, they dropped their next EP “Shut out the Sun” and that same year, they released their debut studio album “Low Island and Friends 17-18”..
