Rubadub, a local Glasgow establishment, sold Lauren her first set of decks as she started her musical adventure and she soon began DJing all around the city. Lauren was selected to join the crew's famed roster of residents after making frequent appearances at the FLY Club in Edinburgh, a position she has had for six years.
Also, Lauren has organized events at the famed Sub Club, where she invited some of the best producers of electronic music, including Nicolas Jaar and Detroit Swindle, to the club's underground space.
At her first Boiler Room session, when she shared the stage with artists including Soundstream, Folamour and Kornel Kovacs, Lauren's deep understanding of the history of dance music was evident in her spontaneous choices of both classic and contemporary house music.
