Toledo Booking Agency Profile

Jordan Dunn-Pilz and Dan Alvarez de Toledo share a unique relationship. The two became tight and unbreakable friends while growing up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, through sleepovers, school choir rehearsals and discovering important bands, to the point that they are roommates in Brooklyn and complete one another's sentences. Their songwriting collaboration TOLEDO, which is named after the Spanish town and lvarez's family namesake, is tangibly influenced by their shared past and unmistakable affection for one another. Their music, which is replete with flawless harmonies throughout, skirts the darker edges of pop and the gentler edges of indie rock, with each song containing a hefty helping of emotional honesty and vulnerability.
The endeavor has achieved notable success: Their debut EP, "Hotstuff" has had over 4 million Spotify listens as of right now. Also, they recently took part in a Consequence of Sound livestream concert with artists including Julien Baker, Dirty Projectors and Beach Bunny. When the pandemic struck, they both returned to Newburyport and set up their studio in Dan's parents' attic. Jordan's relationship was coming to an end, while Dan was beginning a new one. With their new EP "Jockeys of Love," such emotions as well as the weird nostalgia of being confined in their childhood homes swirl about. Between projects, they also produced two songs, "Beautiful," a song about getting married, and "FOMO," a song that "explores the mental ups and downs of quarantine over a fast, electronic beat.".

The final Toledo booking price is contingent on many variables and the booking fee we may show is based on a range derived from our past experience with what will Toledo charge for an event. An example fee to book Toledo is in the starting range of $15,000-$24,999. However, any recent popularity change would cause a price fluctuation well beyond this example. Also, their speaking fee might be different than the fee shown for the cost to perform or to just appear. Popularity, career stage, along with current demand will cause fluctuations in their speaking price as well. The final booking price may be more than what is shown, but you should at least have a budget within that range for them to consider an appearance, performance or speaking engagement.
CTI negotiates on behalf of professional event planners and talent buyers for paid appearances! We will negotiate with the Toledo agent on your behalf if your funding is in place. By not having funding ready then it will more difficult to book Toledo, because they get many offers to work events that are at or above asking price. It is also important to consider the travel costs when researching the Toledo booking fee, as additional expenses like this, as well as an entourage of staff and equipment, are not necessarily built-in to the booking fee range shown. If your budget does not factor that in, then there is no benefit for them to want to be hired. We do not personally speak for Toledo, but in our experience in booking talent for over 25 years, this is generally the outcome of inadequate funding.
