Transitioning to the position of 7th Circuit Solicitor (District Attorney) for Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties in 2000, Trey led transformative initiatives to combat crime and support victims. Under his leadership, the Violence Against Women Task Force and the Worthless Check Program were established, and innovative programs like Drug Court and the Drug Mother Protocol were expanded to create lasting impact.
