After putting the original quartet version of Dru Hill back together they toured with acts such as Tony! Toni! Tone! and Bell Biv Devoe. During the tour, founding member Woody announced he was leaving the group. The other three members held a contest in their home city of Baltimore to find a new singer, coming across a rising star named Antwuan ""Tao"" Simpson.
