A Thousand Horses Booking Agency Profile

Book A Thousand Horses for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
A Thousand Horses was started by Michael Hobby and Bill Satcher, who have been creating rock music infused with traditional American flavors of the southeastern US since their teenage years. A Thousand Horses blends the styles of blues, R&B, and good old slashing guitars, bass & drums in a terrific original sound. After several lineup changes over the years, Michael and Bill have completed the band with Bill's cousin Graham DeLoach playing the bass, Zach Brown on guitar, and Shane Lenzen on the drums. Since the release of their self-titled EP via Interscope Records, A Thousand Horses has continued to rise in popularity. The bands first single, Smoke, made history as the most successful debut by a new artist, premiering at No. 28 on the Country Airplay radio chart. The track achieved Gold status in sales, and its music video received a CMT Music Award nomination for Group Video of the Year, while the band earned an Academy of Country Music Award nomination for Best New Vocal Group. They released their first studio album, Southernality, through Republic Nashville. It took No. 3 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and No. 20 on the Billboard 200 chart. A Thousand Horses followed up with the album Bridges a couple years later, once again earning an Academy of Country Music Award nomination for Best New Vocal Group of the Year..

Also, thier speaking fee might be different than the fee shown for the cost to perform or to just appear. Popularity, career stage, along with current demand will cause fluctuations in their speaking price too. The final booking price may be more than what is shown, but you should at least have a budget within that range for them to consider an appearance, performance or speaking engagement.

There is low probability to book A Thousand Horses for a party with anything substantially less than the published booking cost price range. We will negotiate with the A Thousand Horses agent on your behalf, but if your funding is not in place then it will more difficult to book A Thousand Horses, because they get many offers to work events that are at or above asking price. It is also important to consider the travel costs when researching the A Thousand Horses booking fee, as additional expenses like this, as well as an entourage of staff and equipment, are not necessarily built-in to the booking fee range shown. If your budget does not factor that in, then there is no benefit for them to want to be hired. We do not personally speak for A Thousand Horses, but in our experience in booking talent for over 25 years, this is generally the outcome of inadequate funding.
