Always try to select talent based on what is best for your event, not just your preference. When designing an event does the venue make sense for the location? Ask yourself would you want to go to this event if you were not promoting it?
Make sure that your ticket prices are similar to what the talent normally charges. CTI can assist with pricing. Unless this is a fundraiser, a ticketed event makes sense. A $20,000 talent will not command a $100 ticket price. Ask about our CTI performa to understand costs.

CTI is very experienced in what the talent may need for their rider and you can adjust the rider up or down depending on the venue. CTI can help you navigate the rider and understand what makes sense for your venue.
When selecting a venue, ask yourself if this venue can hold the amount of people that are expected to attend. Does the venue already have a stage, sound, lights, power? The more the venue has, the less out of pocket costs you will incur.
Ask your CTI agent what the history for ticket sales are for similar venues and what pricing makes sense for your area.

One of the best ways to continue to have successful shows is to have a recap of the show to discuss what went well and what could be improved. Be sure to ask the CTI agent how they can improve the next show
