Rush was raised by a father who was a pastor who played the guitar and harmonica, which influenced Rush as a child. While in Chicago, Rush became friends with Little Walter and Muddy Waters and he then started working for Jimmy Reed. Shortly after, Rush rose to fame after the release of his debut single, “Chicken Heads” which earned him certified gold and peaked at number 34 on the Billboard R&B charts. Since then, Rush has gone on to release over 20 albums and some of his other popular songs include “Hen Pecked”, “I Ain’t Studdin You”, “Sue”, “She’s So Fine”, “Hoochie Man” and many more..
