Chang has been performing as an acrobat since he was only 7 years old and was trained by his father. Chang went on to join Chang’s Acrobatic Troupe and went on to be selected to the National Acrobats Troupe of Republic of China. Golden Dragon Acrobats present centuries-old Chinese art form and have been touring over 30 years and perform about 200 times a year. The show previously made their Broadway debut and had a seven-week run at the New Victory Theater, which earned them two New York Drama Desk Award nominations. Since making their Broadway debut, the Golden Dragon Acrobats have returned to Broadway for their second time, making them the only acrobatic troupe from China chosen to perform twice at the New Victory Theater.
