Troy Ross, also known as, “The Boss”, is a Guyanese-Canadian boxer who has competed in the cruiserweight and light heavyweight divisions. Ross was born in Georgetown, Guyana, and he is the son of retired boxer Charles Amos. He has also earned the Canadian Boxing Federation Cruiserweight Championship. During his boxing career, Ross competed in a total of 28 fights, won 25 of them, won 16 by KO and lost 3. Apart from his in ring career, Ross has also been apart of the boxing reality television series “The Contender”, where he was the season 4 champion. He has also dipped into acting and has been seen in the films “Cinderella Man”, “Resurrecting the Champ” and “Phantom Punch”..
