The group was formed in the mid 1950’s by Reese, Louis, and Raymond McKinney. Since then, the group has gone through different members and have included members such as Eldridge Fox, Squire Parsons, Anthony Burger, Mark Trammell, and more. After several years, The Kingsmen Quartet released their first live recording, “Big & Live”, which earned them a Dove award. Some of The Kingsmen Quartet’s most popular songs include “Victory Shout”, “The Night Before Easter”, “Reunion In Heaven”, “I’ve Ever Been Glad”, and more. The Kingsmen Quartet has previously performed at the White House of President Jimmy Carter and has also performed at the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee. They have been the first group to record a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry and they have been inducted into both the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Christian Music Hall of Fame.
