The Chats all met while taking a music class at St. Teresa’s Catholic College in Noosa, Queensland. From there, they formed The Chats and went on to release their self-titled debut EP which was featured on Triple J. This led to them self-releasing their second EP, “Get This in Ya!!” which featured their debut single “Smoko”, which gained attention from artists such as Iggy Pop, Dave Grohl and Josh Homme. Since then, The Chats have released their debut studio album, “High Risk Behaviour”, which features singles “Do What I Want”, “Pub Feed”, “Identity Theft”, “The Clap” and “Dine N Dash”. The Chats have performed at the UK Reading and Leeds Festival and are set to perform at Coachella. They have opened for artists such as Cosmic Psychos, Queens of the Stone Age, Pist Idiots, FKA Festival, and more..
