Illusionist Darcy Oake hails from Winnipeg, which is located in Canada. Oake's interest in magic was sparked when his father asked him to choose a card from a deck of cards, shuffled the deck, and then asked him to choose the same card again after it had been reshuffled. Oake, who was seven years old at the time, was awestruck by the fact that his father could perform something like that. As a result, Oake went on to spend hours upon hours studying magic in the years that followed.
