Bob Golic is an American former professional football player, a sports commentator, radio personality, and actor. Golic was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and he began his career playing high school football as well as wrestling. Golic went on to play college football at the University of Notre Dame where he was apart of the NCAA National Champion football team and was selected as a first-team All-American and a unanimous first-team All-American. He was also named a two-time All-American as a wrestler. After earning his B.A. in management, Golic went on to be drafted in the second round of the NFL draft by the New England Patriots. Golic played for the Patriots for two years and went on to play for the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Raiders before retiring. Over the course of his professional NFL career, Golic was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time All-Pro selection.
