Domenik Hixon is a former Americna professional football wide receiver and return specialist who played in the NFL. Hixon was born in Neunkirchen, West Germany, and later moved to Ohio where he began his career playing football in high school as well as basketball, track and baseball. Hixon went on to play college football at University of Akron where he was a second-team All-MAC and helped his university to win their first MAC Championship in the school’s history. Hixon was then selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. Hixon played with the Broncos for a year before going on to play for the New York Giants where he spent a majority of his career playing. Hixon also played for the Carolina Panthers and was signed to the Chicago Bears, but didn’t play in season with the latter. During his time playing with the Giants, Hixon became a two-time Super Bowl Champion. After retiring from the NFL, Hixon finished his career with 109 receptions, 1,460 receiving yards, 2,563 total return yards, and 9 total touchdowns.
