Jonathan Scott is an English zoologist, photographer, and television presenter who specializes in African wildlife. Scott was raised in Berkshire, England, and he studied at Queen’s University, Belfast. Later in life, Scott traveled to Johannesburg where he has lived since. He went on to become a resident naturalist at Mara River Camp before going on to be a resident naturalist at Kichwa Tembo Camp. While working at Kichwa Tembo Camp, Scott co-authored the book ‘The Marsh Lions,’ and then authored his own first book ‘The Leopard’s Tale.’ During this time he also began selling wildlife drawings. Scott is married to Angela and together the duo have written and illustrated nearly 40 books over the years. Some of their books include ‘Antartica: Exploring a Fragile Eden,’ ‘The Leopard’s Tale,’ ‘The Great Migration,’ ‘Painted Wolves,’ ‘Kingdom of Lions,’ and more. Scott has also become known for his award-winning children’s series “Big Cat.” He has also been a presenter for Mutual of Omah’s Wild Kingdom, Africa Watch, Big Cat Diary, Big Cat Live, Flamingo Watch, and his own series, Dawn to Dusk.
