Horst Christian Simco, better known as his stage name, Riff Raff, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. While growing up, Riff Raff had a love for basketball and began playing as a child before becoming a shooting guard in high school. He then dropped out of high school before going on to earn his GED and study at Hibbing Community College. He later moved back to Houston where he began rapping on homemade CDs over other artists beats and would give them out at a local mall. During this time, social media also started taking off so he began posting his music through social media outlets as well before later moving to Los Angeles to pursue a musical career seriously. He then tried to make it on several television series before being noticed by Simon Rex. That led Riff Raff to be managed by OG Ron C which is when he moved to Los Angeles.
