Swim Deep is a British indie-rock band from Birmingham, England, that consists of members Austin Williams, Cavan McCarthy, James Balmont, Robbie Wood and Thomas “Tomaski” Fiquet. Swim Deep was formed by Williams, and former members Tom Higgins and Wolfgang J. Harte. After adding in Zachary Robinson, the band began performing together and released their two demos, “Isla Vista” and “Santa Maria” through SoundCloud. The band then went on to sign with Chess Club/RCA to release their debut single, “King City,” which led them to tour with Spector. They then began to record their debut album and released the single “Honey,” which was featured on NME. Swim Deep then toured with Two Door Cinema Club and released their debut album, “Where the Heaven Are We,” which was featured on NME and The Guardian and peaked at number 20 on the UK Albums Chart. Two years after that, Swim Deep released their second album, “Mothers,” which peaked at number 55 on the UK Albums chart. Most recently, Swim Deep have released their third album, “Emerald Classics.” Currently, Swim Deep has over 114,000 monthly listeners through Spotify and some of their most popular songs include “Honey,” which has over 7.6 million streams, “King City,” which has over 4.8 million streams, “She Changes the Weather” which has over 3.9 million streams, and “One Great Song and I Could Change the World,” which has over 2.4 million streams..
