Rony Seikaly is a Lebanese-American former NBA basketball player and current DJ and producer. Seikaly was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and began playing basketball during his youth and began DJing at only 14 years old. When he was 16, Seikaly began training in basketball with Panathinaikos and later moved from Greece to the United States where he played college basketball for Syracuse University. He helped lead the school to the NCAA Tournament and was an All-American and named to the John R. Wooden All-American Team. He was also named to the Orange’s All 20th Century Team before going on to be selected by the Miami Heat in the NBA Draft. During his time in the NBA, Seikaly played for teams which included Golden State Warriors, Orlando Magic, and New Jersey Nets. He also played a season with FC Barcelona before retiring. Throughout his career he was named NBA Most Improved Player, earned 9,991 points, 6,424 rebounds and 860 assists. As a DJ, Seikaly has released numerous EPs over the years some of which include “House Calls,” “East West,” “Holdin On,” “Signs,” and “The Sword.” Some of his most streamed songs include “Flying Circles,” “Understand – Gorge Remix,” “What For – Luciano Remix,” and “Mila – Bedouin Remix.”.
