Ren is a singer-songwriter, producer, rapper and multi-instrumentalist from Brighton, England. Ren began his musical career busking on the streets of Brighton and was eventually discovered by Sony who signed him to a record deal. Around this time, Ren became deathly ill and had been diagnosed with debilitating disease before having to move to the United States for treatment which ended up being Lyme disease. Ren then received a stem cell transplant which led him to live life normally again. During his time stuck at home, Ren began writing and producing music which was keeping his mind healthy and saving his life. Ren often wrote songs about his illness and his feelings of isolation and depression. Ren began his musical career with the release of his debut studio album, “Freckled Angels.” He has since released the EP “The Tale of Jenny and Screech,” and several singles. Currently, Ren has nearly 255,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
