American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer HANA hails from Atlanta, Georgia, but she currently makes her home in Los Angeles, California. When Hana was in the fifth grade, her parents got her her first guitar, and she immediately fell in love with music. Her parents gave her the first piano she ever played about the same period. Before starting to play her own live music as a teenager in various cafés and bookstores in Billings, Montana, where she was living at the time, Hana learned how to play the guitar and sing while growing up and participated in numerous choirs. Producers Michael "Fish" Herring and Ben Moody eventually took notice of her, and after getting to know them, she started working on songs with them. Following that, Hana went on to independently release her first EP under the moniker Hana Pestle. Before deciding to go by Hana, she first released two more EPs under the name and her debut studio album, "This Way." Hana has since put out two EPs: "Hana" and "13 Voices," the latter of which she worked on alongside Durante. Her second studio album, "Hanadriel," was also released.
