Este Haim is an American bassist who is best known for performing the pass and vocals for the girl pop rock band Haim, which she performs in alongside her two sisters, Danielle and Alana. Este grew up in a musical family and began playing various instruments alongside her sisters before performing in the cover band Rockinhaim which was fronted by the girls parents, Moti and Donna. Later on, Este along with Danielle, began performing in the pop group Valli Girls, but left shortly after and formed Haim with Alana. Through her career with Haim, Este has released three studio albums, “Days Are Gone,” “Something to Tell You” and “Women in Music Pt. III.” She has also toured with various artists which include Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, Of Monsters and Men, Rihanna, Kings of Leon, and Taylor Swift. Apart from her career with Haim, Este is also known for living with Type 1 diabetes which she often speaks out about. Este was diagnosed at only 14 years old after she started having symptoms which included being extremely thirsty, blurred vision and weight lost.
