The Clairvoyants are one of the hottest acts in Las Vegas, but they weren’t always based out of Sin City. The pair, Amélie van Tass and Thommy Ten, were born and raised in Austria. They met each other in 2011 and immediately began developing their “second sight” clairvoyant performance act. In two short months, they took their act to the stage and it was a huge hit. Not even a year passed before their now full-length show was making huge waves. Three years later, they came to America, where they also reside now. They performed in “The Illusionarium,” a show hosted by illusionist Jeff Hobson within a customized stage built just for the show on the Norwegian Getaway cruise ship. They were performed in this show for about six months before they got a spot on “The Illusionists,” the largest touring magic show on Earth. With this show, they toured Mexico, the Middle East, and Australia. They were even able to perform at the iconic Sydney Opera House. In 2016, the rest of the world became familiar with The Clairvoyants when they made their TV debut on America’s Got Talent. After six performances, they landed second place out of 100,000 contestants. The two of them were awarded The German Champions of Mentalism, Magicians of the Year, and they were selected as the World Champions of Mentalism – something that hasn’t been given out in 30 years..
