Song Min-ho, who raps and sings under the name Mino, is a k pop icon who got his start on the Mnet survival program WIN: Who is Next, where he was immediately appointed as leader on his team and they ended up winning the competition. The winning team began operating under the appropriately named “Winner” and the group made their official debut in 2014 with “2014 S/S”. Four years later, Mino made his official solo debut with the album “XX” and his first single “Fiancé”. Predominantly a rapper, Mino takes a lot of his influence from 50 Cent, Dynamic Duo, Kendrick Lamar, and Drunken Tiger. His music could also be described as a fusion of trot and hip hop.
