Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, is a singer-songwriter from Nigeria. She originally started a fashion career when she was just 16-years-old after joining Quove Model Management, but it was while she was here when she decided to pursue music instead. She started out by covering popular artists on her social media, but eventually posted her first original song on her page in 2019. Record executive Don Jazzy noticed her and this led to Ayra signing to Mavin Records. She got mainstream recognition with her self-titled debut EP and its first single "Away" which spent two consecutive weeks at number 4 on Nigeria's TurnTable Top 50. It also went to number 17 on the U.S. Billboard Top Triller Global, leading up to the release of her first full-length studio album “19 and Dangerous” in August 2021.
