Dwayne Megens goes back the state name D-wayne, a DJ and EDM act. He’s from Eindhoven, Netherlands. D-wayne first appeared on the scene in 2010 with the release of his debut singles “Turn Your Lights On”, which features Kid Vicious and Jan Dulles, “Turn your Love Around”, which features Dan’thony, and “Modest”. These were all a part of his debut album “Flute Wave” which came out the same year. Before that, he started playing at small parties back in 2007 and his audience quickly grew from there. The next year, he had the opportunity to play at a trendy clothes store and even DJ’d at a popular bar in Eindhoven, growing his audience even more. That year, he performed at his first major event at De Effenaar. D-wayne releases his music under Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label, Nervous specialized house label, Spinnin’ Records, and Wall Recordings (a record label owned by fellow Dutch DJ Afrojack). In 2013, D-wayne released the single “Quantum” and got with Afrojack for the song “Freedom” which featured Jack McManus. This sone was on Afrojack’s album “Forget the World”, which came out in 2014.
