Fans love their skillful shifting from a dynamic six-piece ensemble to an unconventional trio featuring saxophone, sousaphone, and beat-boxing. Huntertones features members of the tonight show band Jon Batiste & Stay HUMAN, Allen Stone, OAR, Andy Grammar & Snarky Puppy. They met at Ohio State University and began performing house shows at their Hunter Avenue Apartment. Teaming up with the US State Department, Huntertones toured across South America, Africa & Europe for two years and are excited to tour a new album of original compositions influenced by the music and cultures they have encountered along the journey. The album, titled Live, captures the band in its element, performing genre-defying music while soaking up the energy of a hometown crowd. They released their self titled album in 2015, which was followed up by “Live” the next year. Huntertones released two more albums: “Passport” in 2018 and “Time to Play” in 2021.
