Hard-Fi Booking Agency Profile

Book Hard-Fi for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
Richard Archer (vocals), Ross Philips (guitar), Kai Stephens (bass), and Steve Kemp are the members of the band Hard-Fi from Staines, England (drums). The five-piece indie rock band with punk influences was founded in 2002; they are known for their loud mash-up of Dexy's Midnight Runners melodies, Franz Ferdinand hooks, and Dead 60s theatrics. In October 2004, Hard-Fi self-released Stars of CCTV, and all 500 copies were immediately gone. The following June, the nine-song EP was republished by the U.K. independent label Necessary. Once more, the fickle British media and an eager British public paid attention to Hard-Fi. Chart-topping singles included Cash Machine, Tied Up Too Tight, and Hard to Beat; similarly successful U.K. performance dates included the Bravery, the Kaiser Chiefs, and the Ordinary Boys. Hard-Fi received a Mercury Music Prize nomination for Stars of CCTV before the year was out. Additionally, they had delighted spectators at Glastonbury and the yearly SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Early in 2006, two Brit Award nominations for Best British Group and Best British Rock Act were made. Stars of CCTV went on to become the top-charting album in the United Kingdom in January 2006; it was released in the United States in March and, despite not making as much of an impact there, it still raised expectations for Hard-subsequent Fi's album, Once Upon a Time in the West, which was released in September 2007. The band made an album announcement the next year and started a protracted recording process that involved collaborating with producers like Greg Kurstin of The Bird and the Bee. In August 2011, Killer Sounds, the record, was eventually finished and published..

Many performers, actors, speakers and other talent like Hard-Fi in certain cases will consider virtual appearances via live streaming. They perhaps may accept lower fees too. Hard-Fi's current work schedule and location in relation to your event's type, date, budget, and locality will play a primary factor in the acceptance of booking Hard-Fi for your party. As long as your funding is commensurate with the price range to book Hard-Fi, CTI will propose your event to the official agency representing Hard-Fi. CTI can give you the accurate Hard-Fi booking price once we submit your event details to their camp. "How much does it cost to book Hard-Fi for an event?" is a frequent question we get. The final Hard-Fi booking price is contingent on many variables and the booking fee we may show is based on a range derived from our past experience with what will Hard-Fi charge for an event. An example fee to book Hard-Fi is in the starting range of $7,500-$14,999. However, any recent popularity change would cause a price fluctuation well beyond this example. Also, their speaking fee might be different than the fee shown for the cost to perform or to just appear. Popularity, career stage, along with current demand will cause fluctuations in their speaking price as well. The final booking price may be more than what is shown, but you should at least have a budget within that range for them to consider an appearance, performance or speaking engagement.
CTI negotiates on behalf of professional event planners and talent buyers for paid appearances! We cannot give out direct contact information of the Hard-Fi agent or help distribute fan mail, personal messages, gifts, requests for free appearances, or donations of time. The Hard-Fi manager and agent will only work with us if we present them with funded offers for their client to work your event.
There is low probability to book Hard-Fi for a party with anything substantially less than the published booking cost price range. We will negotiate with the Hard-Fi agent on your behalf if your funding is in place. By not having funding ready then it will more difficult to book Hard-Fi, because they get many offers to work events that are at or above asking price. It is also important to consider the travel costs when researching the Hard-Fi booking fee, as additional expenses like this, as well as an entourage of staff and equipment, are not necessarily built-in to the booking fee range shown. If your budget does not factor that in, then there is no benefit for them to want to be hired. We do not personally speak for Hard-Fi, but in our experience in booking talent for over 25 years, this is generally the outcome of inadequate funding.
