Li Bingbing Booking Agency Profile

Book Li Bingbing for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
Li Bingbing was born in Heilongjiang, Wuchang, China. She specifically enrolled in a high school for future teachers because she initially had no intention of becoming an actress. She eventually agreed to enroll in the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1993 after discovering her love in performing after graduating.

Zhang Yuan's Seventeen Years, which she starred in for the first time in 1999, earned her the Best Actress Prize at the Singapore Film Festival. Li was one of the most well-known actresses in China after appearing in the television series Young Justice Bao in 2001. She received recognition as one of China's Top Ten Best TV performers or actresses in that particular year. As she went on to appear in more wuxia television programs including Taiji Prodigy and Eight Heroes, Li gained recognition as an action actor.

Li appeared in the romantic comedy Waiting Alone, directed by Dayyan Eng, in 2005. The film was nominated for three Chinese Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Li's first Best Actress nomination at the Golden Rooster Awards. Li was named The Most Popular Actress at the 12th Beijing College Film Festival in the same year. She then went on to play the lead role in Feng Xiaogang's A World Without Thieves, which led to her being nominated for the 2006 Hundred Flowers Awards' Best Supporting Actress Award.

Li's performance in The Knot earned her the Best Actress accolades at the 2007 Huabiao Awards and the 2008 Hundred Flowers Awards; the movie was also China's submission for the Best Foreign Film award at the 2008 Academy Awards. She also played the White-Haired Witch alongside Jet Li and Jackie Chan in the 2008 movie The Forbidden Kingdom. Li earned the Best Leading Actress Prize at the 46th Golden Horse Film Awards in November 2009 for her performance in the spy thriller The Message..
