Elmore is a well-known sportscaster in the United States and former National Basketball Association player. Elmore has served in the same function as a college basketball analyst for ESPN, Fox Sports, as well as CBS Sports' coverage of the NBA and NCAA Tournament. Power Memorial Academy in New York City served as Elmore's place of education. He played basketball for a team that won the city title and was named the "Number 1 Team in the Nation" in 1970.
