Dallas Liu is a rising American actor best known for his portrayal of Shuji Ishii-Peters in the Hulu dramedy PEN15, Carter in Legendary Dudas, and Ruihua in the 2021 Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Born and raised in San Gabriel Valley, California, Liu has been practicing martial arts since the age of five, and he competed in the North American Sport Karate Association, winning numerous competitions before stopping at the age of 13.

He was recommended for the role by one of his martial arts teachers and was discovered by his manager through karate videos he had uploaded onto YouTube. Since then, Liu has landed several notable roles, including playing Taylor King in Snapchat's young-adult drama series Players.

In August 2021, Liu was announced as the actor who will play Prince Zuko in Netflix's live action remake of the popular animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender.
