Six60 Booking Agency Profile

Book Six60 for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
The New Zealand pop rock group Six60 was founded in Dunedin, Otago, in 2008. Six people make up the band: Eli Paewai, Ji Fraser, Chris Mac, Marlon Gerbes, Hoani Matenga, and Matiu Walters. On October 10, 2011, their own label, Massive Entertainment, released their self-titled debut album. Tiki Taane mixed and produced the album, which debuted at the top of the New Zealand charts and was given a gold certification within the first week of its release. "Rise Up 2.0" and "Don't Forget Your Roots," their first two songs, peaked at the top of the RIANZ singles chart and earned double and triple platinum certifications, respectively.

Six60 became the most streamed artist by New Zealanders on Spotify in 2018 and won five Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards. The band made history the following year when they performed a sold-out show at the Western Springs Stadium in front of 50,000 spectators, being the first band from New Zealand to do so. At Auckland's Eden Park Stadium on April 24, 2021, Six60 performed the year's biggest concert, capping off their Six60 Saturdays nationwide tour.

The first members of Six60 met at the University of Otago, where they shared a residence at 660 Castle Street. The home number was used to create the band's moniker. The group bought the house in July 2021 and established four $10,000 performing arts scholarships at the University of Otago. The appeal of Six60 spread from Dunedin to other major student centers across the nation, such as Auckland, Waikato, Christchurch, and Wellington.

The triple platinum single "Don't Forget Your Roots," two double platinum singles ("Only to Be" and "Rise Up"), two platinum singles ("Forever" and "Special"), one gold single ("Lost"), and six platinum singles ("Don't Forget Your Roots") are all included on Six60's quadruple platinum number-one debut album. The group also performed a version of Rudimental's "Feel the Love" as part of George FM Breakfast's "Damn! I Wish I Was Your Cover" series..

Six60's current work schedule and location in relation to your event's type, date, budget, and locality will play a primary factor in the acceptance of booking Six60 for your party. As long as your funding is commensurate with the price range to book Six60, CTI will propose your event to the official agency representing Six60. CTI can give you the accurate Six60 booking price once we submit your event details to their camp. "How much does it cost to book Six60 for an event?" is a frequent question we get. The final Six60 booking price is contingent on many variables and the booking fee we may show is based on a range derived from our past experience with what will Six60 charge for an event. An example fee to book Six60 is in the starting range of $150,000-$299,000. However, any recent popularity change would cause a price fluctuation well beyond this example. Also, their speaking fee might be different than the fee shown for the cost to perform or to just appear. Popularity, career stage, along with current demand will cause fluctuations in their speaking price as well. The final booking price may be more than what is shown, but you should at least have a budget within that range for them to consider an appearance, performance or speaking engagement.
CTI negotiates on behalf of professional event planners and talent buyers for paid appearances! We cannot give out direct contact information of the Six60 agent or help distribute fan mail, personal messages, gifts, requests for free appearances, or donations of time. The Six60 manager and agent will only work with us if we present them with funded offers for their client to work your event.
There is low probability to book Six60 for a party with anything substantially less than the published booking cost price range. We will negotiate with the Six60 agent on your behalf if your funding is in place. By not having funding ready then it will more difficult to book Six60, because they get many offers to work events that are at or above asking price. It is also important to consider the travel costs when researching the Six60 booking fee, as additional expenses like this, as well as an entourage of staff and equipment, are not necessarily built-in to the booking fee range shown. If your budget does not factor that in, then there is no benefit for them to want to be hired. We do not personally speak for Six60, but in our experience in booking talent for over 25 years, this is generally the outcome of inadequate funding.
