Petalcorin, a former frontman and guitarist for an indie rock band, was born in the Philippines and lived in Japan before relocating to Welwyn Garden City.
In order to establish themselves as one of the most promising new electronic music acts to come out of the UK, TIBASKO traveled to the North American East Coast for the first performance of their maiden US tour. TIBASKO brought their diverse electronica movement to the Life Is Beautiful festival and put on two gigs, the second of which was at Casa Bacardi. They worked on their songs for a week in studios in Hollywood before traveling to San Diego for CRSSD Fest and an after-party.
The song has received support from Bonobo, I.Jordan, DJ Seinfeld, Barry Can't Swim, Prospa, Bklava, Hammer and Meg Ward, and it has over one million streams (and counting) internationally..
