The British alt-rock group Bôa has experienced numerous lifetimes. The trio, which included vocalist Jasmine Rodgers and musicians Alex Caird and Lee Sullivan, began in the early 1990s as a friendly jam session in Rodgers' home studio with other local musicians. Although Rodgers wasn't officially a member of the band at the time, the upstairs practice space that they used for practice was connected to the house she shared with her father Paul Rodgers, the singer for the legendary rock groups Bad Company and Free.
