German post-punk duo GAST is based in Tübingen. Tim and Linus add analogue new-wave noises from vintage electronics, choir walls of sound, and terrible, real German lyrics to strange arrangements. The EP of the same name was released following the enormous success of their first song, "fallen". With much effort, the second EP "kaputt gehen" was issued. The release concert evolved into a creative boxing demonstration. GAST demonstrates that they are versatile musicians by showcasing every aspect of their sound in this EP, from indie guitars to technoid beats.
