Thomas Rhett is a country music singer and songwriter. Rhett began pursuing musical endeavors in junior high when he started playing the drums. He started playing drums for his father, country music artist Rhett Atkins. He then joined a band in high school called The High Heeled Flip Flops. Though he went to college for a degree in communications, he dropped out to pursue his musical career. He was later offered a songwriting deal with Big Machine Label Group and wrote many songs for the group. Rhett wrote songs including “I Ain’t Ready to Quit” and “1994” by Jason Aldean, “Parking Lot Party” by Lee Brice, and “Round Here” by Florida Georgia Line. He released his own singles “Something To Do with My Hands” and “Beer with Jesus,” and both of the tracks reached the top 20 on the Hot Country Songs chart. It Goes Like This, which is his debut album, contained the singles “Get Me Some of That” and “Make Me Wanna.” His singles “Crash and Burn” and “Die a Happy Man” were featured on his album Tangled Up which reached certified RIAA Platinum and MC certified Gold. Since the release of Tangled Up, Rhett has released his third album “Life Changes”, which peaked at number 1 on the US and US Country charts and reached RIAA certified Platinum. Some of his most popular songs off his third album include, “Craving You”, “Unforgettable”, “Marry Me”, and “Life Changes”. He’s also releasing his fourth album, “Center Point Road” with the single “Look What God Gave Her.".
