Songwriter and guitarist, Carl Bell, and drummer, Jody Abbott, formed the band in Brownsville, Tennessee and haven not looked back ever since. Brett Scallions and Jeff Abercrombie saw them play in a bar and joined their project afterwards. They released an EP titled, Porcelain, which had local popularity and got the attention of Sony's 550 imprints thanks to their large social media presence. They then signed on to Epic label, and released their debut album, Sunburn. Some of the band’s biggest hits include tracks such as “Hemorrhage (In My Hands),” “Falls on Me,” “Shimmer,” and “Bad Day.” The band had continued success with multiple albums, but went through a transition of band members. They continued to record albums, even after the band stopped touring. After a few years, Fuel began to go back on tour, but with all new members except for Brett Scallion.
