The orchestra also offers master classes, workshops, and other educational programs to support up-and-coming musicians, singers, composers, and bandleaders. Charlie Young, coordinator of jazz studies at Howard University and a professor of saxophone, serves as SJMO artistic director and conductor for the orchestra. Executive producer, Kennith R.
