American heavy metal band Disturbed was founded in Chicago in 1994. Bassist John Moyer, drummer Mike Wengren, guitarist Dan Donegan, and vocalist David Draiman make up the band. Donegan and Wengren have been a part of the group since the beginning, with Moyer taking over for the late Steve "Fuzz" Kmak on bass and Draiman for Erich Awalt on lead vocals. Eight studio albums have been issued by the group, five of which have consistently debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Disturbed took a break in October 2011 to work on various side projects.
